Highton Men's Probus Annual Carnival
Played last Thursday, 11 April and attended by 26 Teams representing 16 Probus Clubs from our region. Participating clubs ranging from Maryborough to Timboon to Pt Lonsdale to Werribee and many in between. Our bowls club was praised for the condition of the grass greens, the friendly delivery of food including a delightful lunch organised by Ros Leigh and our Ladies. A job well done as usual and which brought over $1000 to our bowls club.

Mid week Pennant Players 2019-2020
It is important at this time of the season that the Selection Committee are aware of your intentions to play Pennant next season 2019/20.
Our club is required to submit the number of pennant teams for the coming season toward the end of June. If you wish to play Mid week Pennant please tick your name on the sheet at the back of the room in the section Selection Midweek. Any Division withdrawn after the GBR hand book is printed receives a hefty fine. YOUR CO OOPERATION would be appreciated.

Men's Section
Saturday Pennant: List of Saturday Pennant Players names is now on the back Noticeboard and it would be appreciated if ALL players could tick this list to show their intention for next season. This will then help us determine number of teams we will need to enter for next season.
Terry Driscoll - Men's President
5 a Side Wrap Up
This week concludes another successful 5 A-Side Torunament held at the Highton Bowls Club. After 5 years, the event is as popular as ever, with players from 9 different clubs enjoying 4 weeks of bowling. With a combination of new and experienced bowlers playing in a variety of positions, the 80 players all enjoyed good bowling and fellowship. Elaine Coles and her team (Deb Butler, Lorriane Finlay and Anne Fox) wish to thank our Green keeper, Jamie, for the excellent presentation of the greens and Neil Harrison for his help in setting up each week. The event made $2524.00 for our club.
