New Sponsor - Ryman Health Care

Highton Bowls Club welcome new major sponsor Ryman Healthcare,

who will be building a new retirement village/age care at 157 South Valley Road, Highton

Ryman have had a lot of interest in the retirement village we're planning to build in South Valley Road, so we want to tell you more about it. As our proposal is still going through the planning consent process, the exact details of what the village will look like are still to be confirmed.

But what we can tell you, for sure, is that what our village offers will be different to anything you've heard of before.

It will comprise independent living options in town houses and apartments; assisted living in serviced apartments; and low care, high care, and specialist dementia care. That means we offer a continuum of care for our residents, so if your health needs change care is available within our village community.

But that's not the only thing that sets us apart: our resident-friendly terms and peace of mind guarantees encapsulate what we call 'The Ryman Difference'.

We offer fixed weekly fees that will never increase, a deferred management fee capped at 20 per cent, and no hidden costs. That means your weekly fees stop immediately when you leave your apartment, and you will be repaid your capital sum within six months even if your apartment has not been on-sold. And we don't charge refurbishment costs, which can save residents as much as $60,000.

Ryman Healthcare started out with a simple idea from our founder, Kevin Hickman, that it's got to be good enough for mum. Nearly 35 years and 32 retirement villages later, that care and kindness remains at the heart of everything we do.

We understand that moving into a retirement village is a big life decision, so we make the process as clear and transparent as possible.

Our community relations team leader Denise looks forward to seeing you at the club soon, but if you would like to view plans and pricing as that information becomes available please give her a call on 1800 288 299.

    Kind regards

    Denise
