Thank you to all those members that have volunteered to assist with this rather large task during the 2017-2018 season.
Midweek Pennant
Division 1 played Queenscliff at Eastern Park last Tuesday in the Preliminary Final. The game was played on a fast green in very gusty conditions. After a big loss the week before, Queenscliff had made changes to the rink composition and were determined to win and indeed went on to win all 3 rinks. They will now meet Ocean Grove at Belmont next Tuesday in the Grand Final.
Thank you to the many supporters on the day.
Club Championships
Clive Savage and Darren Hillman played off in the President's Handicap final last Sunday. Clive Savage won the match 21 - 7 and said the scores didn't indicate the high quality of play.

Ocean Grove Classic
Winners
Highton had 3 teams entered in the Oakdene Estate Ladies Classic Fours played at Ocean Grove on Sunday, March 4th. The Coral Milligan skipped team, (Helen Hulme, Rhonda Kemp and Marion Lyne) were successful in taking out the major prize for the day. A great days bowling was had by all.

Limerick Time
Rod Ollis now he chases money
Finding sponsors is not very funny.
But we need the dough
So he's up and go
And the club thinks it's all milk and honey.
